Our Verdict
We took the Universal Dog Car Chin Rest on several road trips to see if it could actually soothe our travel-weary pup. This simple yet clever accessory aims to transform the rigid edge of a car door into a plush, supportive headrest.
Performance & Build Quality
The materials used in this chin rest are impressively soft yet structured enough to hold their shape under a dog's weight. Its lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to transfer between different vehicle models without any complicated installation hardware.
Day-to-Day Experience
Installing the rest on the car window is straightforward, staying secure even when the window is adjusted. Our test subject adapted to it almost immediately, choosing to rest their chin on the padding rather than the hard door frame within minutes of hitting the road.
This is a must-have for owners of dogs who love to gaze out the window during car rides and need a little extra support for their neck and chin.
Final Thoughts
With an impressive 4.85/5 rating, this product delivers on its promise of a more comfortable journey for your furry friend. At only $29.00, it is a practical, well-made solution that solves the common issue of uncomfortable window perching.
